1 We find our prodigy sprite lost in a large wacky department store. Our task is to help Herbert search the store for the lost and found department where Wally and Wilma are waiting, and so reunite the Week family.

1 To the person who first finds this place of wisdom, Firebird will present all these secrets in the form of a Porsche 924. To help you explore this deadly maze you have been provided with a remote controlled vehicle, the Hedroid.
1 This is another Bally Midway arcade game to be translated to the home computer. The translationis very good except for the graphics, which get very messy when the sprites clash. The game is easy to play and hard to master. Addictive.
1 This is a good, well designed and programmed game with a great sense of humour. However, it isvery similar to all the other games in the Wally Saga, and therefore only for the real Wally addicts (like me) or the Wally less.
1 There are four different bars and an amusing bonusscreen to play. Here the Soda bandit appears and shakes five of six cans of soda, these are then shuffled. you now have topick the unshaken one to score the bonus and not be squirted with Soda.
1 The screens are very varied and the sprites large and well animated. The most impressive sequences are where you speed through storm ravaged forests of multi-coloured monoliths, this is reminiscent of the classic Death Chase game.
1 The games are: RACE ACE FIDO 1 WEASEL WILLY (no relation) FIDO 2 and of course, the ever popular and totally pointless FRUIT MACHINE.
1 The animation and the level of programming is of the highest standard. Controlling the Hedroid takes practice and the maze presents a formidable challenge. Not just another 3D maze game. The 3D maze game.
1 The Hedroid possesses a targetable high-energy laser which is used to destroy the towers that guard key junctions of the maze. The real stars of this game are the roving spheres. These giants are both lethal and indestructable.

1 Sometimes a satisfied customer will leave a tip. If you collect this, dancers will appear on a stage. When this happens all the customers will turn their backs to the bar and any drinks sliding along the bar will end up on the floor.
1 Sensibly enough, you havebeen sent far away from where you can do any realharm, to an artificial planet of glass. This combat training planet ispopulated with lifeless target droids, mock cities and orbiting robotspace ships.

1 In Weasal Willy you guideWilly around the screen while trying to avoid thetrees (I think that's thepoint). In Fruit machine, well, what can I say? Onepoint of intrest is that these games are copyrightfree. So after this review you can try one.
1 In Race Ace you control one of nine cars in a race around a simple 2D circuit. As soon as you take the lead the race ends. In Fido 1&2 you play a dog who keeps moles a bay by wacking them over the head with your wagging tail.
1 If you've played any of the Wally games you will know what to expect here;excellant graphics, smooth sprites a sprinkling of famous arcade games (so far I'vefound breakout) and lots of nutty puzzles to solve.

1 A novel feature of Glass is the ability to restart a game from the point where you lost yourprevious final 'life'. IfIf you're an arcade freak then this game may not be demanding enough. A good and easy no-nonsense zap game.

1 " On the bootom six lines of the screen is a display of the full sinclair character set and the current set (of 8) which is being worked on.This area is used to select characters with the lower screen cursor and to display the characters so far deigned."
1 " Now we have loaded in our 3 character sets at addresses: SET 1-63232 SET 2-64000 SET 3-64768 To use the characters from thesesets we must proceed as follows."
1 " If for example we wish to print characters from set 2 at address 64000 we must make the system variable CHARS point to the start of the character set. To do this use the line: POKE 23607,
1 " GET will transfer either 1 or 4 characters (see MOD) from the character set into the work area to be altered orinspected. PUT places a designed or edited character (or group of 4) back anywhere in the character set."
1 " Each character set takes up 768 bytes of memory therefor if,for example,we have 3 saved setswe need to reserve 3*768=2304 bytes. This means we must reload the characters to address 65536-2304=63232.Therefore we type CLEAR 63231 to reserve the ram then LOAD""""
1 " E.g.select GET and use the lower screen cursor to select '0'-characters 0124 will move into the grid area (or just 0 if in 8*8 mode.)"
1 " At any time pressing ':'(z and symbol shift) will return tobasic. Now type RUN and you will be given the load/save menu.Notewhen saving character sets you must specify how many sets (1-8)you want to save."
1 " All funtions will work on either one or four consecutive characters depending on mode."
